Road trip from Togo to ghana ,using Wli border

 The most popular Border to ghana from Togo is aflao , but that wasnt the border we passed through.

Leaving Togo that morning from kpalime wasnt stressful, since we were four , the wise thing to do was to get a taxi to the border which our hotel helped in calling for us and we did the negotiations to 16000fcfa , the journey was faster and less stressful in 2hrs we were already at the border , got our passport stamped out of Togo and into ghana , stamping out of togo cost us 500fcfa while into ghana was free unless you wishes to tip them but officially it was free .

After the immigration search at the border we took a car to hohoe 60 cedis , while looking for where to change our money since the cash with us was fcfa, Border to hohoe was 45mins journey which led us to Hohoe park where we got Accra bus at 75ghc each .

We got to Accra at about 8pm which totalled about 7hrs journey . When alighted , we got a taxi to our hotel on cotton Avenue, the hotel we booked was "somewhere nice"but aside from the fact that it wasn't what we expected , the price what ridiculously high .

After much deliberation we decided to look for another hotel, we don't have money on us since we were unable to change some cash , we are dastardly hungry and we don't even know where we will be sleeping , so we order for food without cash , after we have eaten we then got an hotel , check in our bags and head out to go and withdraw money .It was an unfortunate situation because our naira card didn't work in ghana , so if you are planning to go to ghana withdraw your cash to avoided been stranded.we went back to the hotel without cash and they almost didn't want us to sleep until we gave them $50 as deposit and when we change the money the next day we have the dollar back and pay them in cedis .
