There is more to Ogun state than Olumo rocks

I want to tour Ogun state and will like that you give me the direction of how to get there ? These were the exact words of Richard in my Dm on my Instagram page  .Where and where are you looking to tour in Ogun states exactly ? I asked because saying you want to tour Ogun state and using a simple sentence seems incomplete to me because I know there are about 20 local government in Ogun state.

Richard : oh ! I mean Olumorock .

Me:🙄 in my head , but I didn't use the emoji even though I desperately wanted to , but this is the first time this person is having a chat with me ,so I kept my cool because you know what they say about first impression and because it excites me when people said they want to visit a place because of a picture I posted .I directed Richard on where and how to get to Abeokuta after encouraging him to visit other places in Abeokuta . 

THERE IS MORE TO OGUN STATE THAN ABEOKUTA 

As a traveler,its annoying , as a tourist enthusiast it's insulting , as a student of life that is always willing to learn and has learnt , having people to reduce a whole state to one location can be very cringe , I'm not even not going to mention because my mother is from a part in Abeokuta , so now imagine having your village cast aside because there is another village that has a popular place .Exactly! That's what it feels like .

Tourist attraction in ogun state .

Abeokuta north $ south: Oyan Dam , Ake palace, Itoku market ,first church in Nigeria, Olumo rock , Moshalashi jimoh, Obasanjo library , Old manse , Hilltop golf resort Centenary hall ,MKO Abiola stadium , Madam tinubu shrine, National museum, Arakaga nature reserve , Kuti heritage museum .

Ado odo ota :Ijamido river , Second store, building in Nigeria, 

Ewekoro: Ewekoro river .

Ifo :

Ijebu Ode :Yemoji Nature spring , Awujale palace, Ebute oni beach , Albert ogunde museum, Ijebu ode central mosque , Aiyepe central mosque , Otuba Dipo Dina international stadium .

Ikenne : Uren resort .

Imeko/afon :Osuru Spring 

Ipokia : Tongenji Island 

Obafemi Owode. Saam farm and holiday resort 

Odeda : 

Odogbolu : Yemul river .
